How to melt down Maskcara Makeup

So you think your Maskcara Beauty 3D foundation tins are running low? You will be surprised just how many more days you have left when you use this trick to melt down your maskcara makeup. One of the greatest things about the maskcara packaging and cream products is that there is absolutely no waste. Use this trick to make sure you are getting every drop of that cream gold.

Step 1: Preheat oven to its lowest setting.

Preheat your oven to 170 degrees. The creams melt fast, so having the oven on a low temperature will help make sure you don’t burn the product.

Step 2: Remove tins from compact

This step is self explanatory. When heating the tins you want to make sure the compact does not getting burned. Remove them easily with a butter knife.

Important Note: Do not melt your illuminators or shimmer lip and cheeks. The fine glitter will not apply the same once melted.

Step 3: Place tins on baking sheet

Place your maskcara 3D foundation tins on a baking sheet and place into the oven. Make sure whatever you use is flat and strong enough to lift the tins without tipping.

Step 4: Place in oven

Do not leave the kitchen and make sure you set a timer too! I cannot stress enough how fast the cream melts. Melt time will depend on how much makeup is left in the tins. Check on the makeup. Watch closely and remove as soon as the product has evenly melted in the tin.

Remember: DO NOT melt down shimmer lip and cheeks or cream illuminators.

Step 5: Let Cool

Once the makeup has melted flat, remove from the oven very carefully. The cream will be liquefied and hot. It sets just as fast, but spills can happen. Let the makeup cool on the baking sheet before trying to move it. Once the makeup has set or become the thick buttery cream we know and love, you can place it back in your compact. Wipe compact with an alcohol swab or makeup removing wipe before replacing the tins for an even more fresh palette.

Step 6: Enjoy your freshly cleaned makeup
