Are you thinking about joining Maskcara Beauty as an Artist? Do you have a partner and you are not sure what they will think? I am beyond happy to hear that you have someone in your life that you want to run this by, someone who’s opinion you value, but I do not want this opportunity to pass you by. That is why I asked my husband to answer a few questions. Questions that will maybe put you and your partner at ease.
Check out the video interview below. Dan had the added challenge of applying my makeup with no direction, so he was not as eloquent with his answers. You can find even more of our videos here
What was your reaction when I told you I wanted to sell makeup?
“Initially I thought to myself “oh, boy,” knowing that more often than not MLM companies can be predatory with schemes to make money off the individuals who sign up. After hearing more, there are clear differences that separates Maskcara and the way they run their MLM company. I am supportive of my wife and the decisions she makes, trusting her judgement, but it made me feel better knowing Maskcara is not just another MLM looking to take advantage of others to make some quick money.”
What do you think joining Maskcara Beauty has done for me?
“It seems, to be successful with an MLM style company, networking is key. Bekah has been forced to venture out in this way, uncomfortably at times, to promote the product but also to promote something else. Bekah is very confident in herself, and she wishes to bring this confidence to other women who do not feel the same way about themselves. I’ve heard her say “I want them to feel beautiful with and without the makeup”. That is something special about her, and it can’t be made into a product. Maskcara has provided a clearer route for Bekah to reach and work with other women that otherwise wouldn’t have ever met her.”
What would you say to the partner of someone who is thinking of joining?
“Sleep on it. Sales is not for everyone, it can be tough, awkward, full of failures and rejections. You will question the decision you made to do it. But what I hear from my prospective, Maskcara is an ethical company, who takes time with product development, they do not rush products through for the sake of making money but take their time to meet there higher quality standards. Their product price points are something to be acknowledged, as they could easily be marked up much higher.
No commission is made when an individual joins the team, so you know you are not part of a headhunting sprint to have some cash made off of your commitment, then left out to dry. Maskcara and the teams provide a lot of information and trainings on not just the operations and inner workings of the company and products, but also how to be successful, how to time manage, what to focus on, goal making, etc. There is an active network of women available and willing to help you be successful. Ultimately, it is still hard work with many obstacles along the way, but Maskcara is a good company to work for. “
Joining something new like this can be scary. The best part about becoming an artist is that you will never be alone. The community and help I receive from other artists keeps me focused and motivated. I will not guarantee you will be successful, but I can say if you enter it with the right mindset and motives, that you will come out the other side a better version of yourself.
If you do not currently have an artist you are working with, I would love to work with you. Check out what I have to offer here.
WORK WITH MEI can’t wait to see the places you will go!
